here I am, almost-dating the gorgeous blond guy, and my old crush from Paris decided to reappear! Out of the blue, he texted me he would like to see me.
He will visit from Paris next week end.
But I was in Paris for years, and something was coming in the way of a happy ending.
Should I say yes?
May be time and distance, made him realize his feelings were stronger. Or there could be any other possible reason.
He would like to meet and catch up.

yes, this idea of the UK out of Europe kind of shook me as other Europeans, Londoners and pro-remain people.
But there was an interesting side-effect: this common concern brings people together. You see a gorgeous guy sitting next to you at the café, pub, … grieving for the loss … you join in with your grief to seek some kind of comfort… feeling the need to share emotions.
Is it a problem that he is a gorgeous blond with blue eyes? I didn’t even pay attention as the topic was so important… well he is working for a news program and he wanted to see how the other Europeans took it… so here I am today having coffee with him…
Will this collective emotion translate into something more personal?
It is hard to know right away; let’s see if we will meet again for drinks and more analysis!

well, they say be carefull what you dream of: it may happen! And this is exactly what happened to me tonight.
I was writing this post in front of my computer, and was looking for a photo of a group of friends hanging out together… and guess what?
It was easier to get a photo of the cult ‘Friends’ than any random group…
a few hours later I was invited for drinks by a group of visual artists and had a really great time!
So much the better for the summer solstice, that was a great way to begin summer!

summer solstice today, hey, this is great, I had some sun on my head when I went for tea today in London, but it was raining all morning. Just to cheer us up, I found this beautiful sun designed by Megan, an artist from Chicago.
By the way, I also decided the best way to deal with Mega goals is to act in a spontaneous way. I will let you know how that works. You see June, I am not good at pushing myself. I think self deserves a chocolate from time to time, a hug, a nice cup of tea and other similar things. So even if there is a list of things to be done, I will give them their time and I will take mine!

it is Sunday, the weather was having moods in London, but I walked around, and thought of trying to plan my week ahead.
Here is what happens. Planning feels like a lot of things to do and I have a tendency to panick.
May be the solution is to have a MEGA goal, mega like megalomania.
In this way, all the things that seem overwhelming right now would look easy and insignificant.
Or I will give myself a SUPER HEROINE powers.
Would that mean that I need to upgrade my expectations of a possible partner? Another SUPER HERO or a human being would be ok?
So, my BIG objective is the end of July, win a funding.
It is not doing things I know well how to do.
So it is kind of challenging.
My other challenge is to take the QUANTUM LEAP and continue into the positive dimension I entered when I came to London.
Now I have another trip in mind.

does it make a difference if you are dressed on a suit or with jeans and snickers? I had a conversation with a British Musician playing rock music. He thought people in suits don’t always treat him with respect in everyday interactions.
I have also observed that when I fall out of bed in the morning and go for coffee in my home-jeans with my hair messed up, I might get refused to plug-in my computer, whereas another day I am welcomed. Oh, and that day I have put some make up on and I am more carefully dressed.
Should appearances define the way we are perceived?
Am I doing the same thing on my side?
I couldn’t say that I am completely innocent, hmm…
In any case, should we pay more attention in the ’emballage’ or the content? Make sure are work is of good quality, or pay attention to the packaging of our ideas? Or maybe both?
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to delegate?
Should we just conform or be rebel and creative instead?
What do you think?
In any case, I have decided to get up earlier and resolve the packaging issues as soon as possible!
