Hello again October and farewell,
this Halloween cat watching a horror movie is really something!
Hello October,
Halloween is around the corner, and although it was not in my tradition to celebrate it, I looked around for information. Apparently, the origins go back to the ancien Celts, so it is well rooted in the UK where I happen to live right now.
Something I could relate with? Apparently, for the Celts, November 1st was New Year’s Eve, and something is dying for something else to be born, as winter is coming.
So I take it as a new beginning, and a day with mystery and magic, which I rather enjoy.
Especially with a nice desert and with a glass of wine.
At least I am waiting to see what my friends have in mind, who will celebrate it tonight and invited me over!
Hello October,
As I tried to get out this morning I realized a friend who visited me last night left with my keys by mistake. So, what to do, almost locked in?
I send her texts and emails.
A lesson for me also not to leave my keys lying on the table.
Lesson number two: get myself a porte-clés.
I planned to go for a walk, but on the other side, I could make coffee for myself here.
I can finish tidying and putting my clothes in the drawers, they are still here and there after moving in to the new place.
And most of all, I can … Dance!
So what to do if we don’t have the key to the door.
Maybe we can be creative.
We can take the door out.
We can get in or out from the window.
We can look for the key.
Ask for it.
Meditate, pray, and ask for the key.
We can make a key.
And if all this doesn’t work, we could look in our pocket.

Hello October,
apparently, what makes a good sailor is to know how to face difficult weather conditions. Have you had anyone being qualified as excellent sailor because he knows how to cross the swimming pool with a floating chair?
Ok, the second can be very agreeable, but let’s face it, the swimming pool is not hiding a lot of excitement, new knowledge and adventure. And the floating chair is not the fastest means of travel.
It is more of a lingering type of thing.
So, yes, it is fine to be on the floating chair from time to time and relax. But for how long?
If you don’t use what you have, you will end up looking like a floating chair.
So deep waters are here to keep us in shape and make of us excellent sailors.
They allow us to grow to our fullest potential.
Hello October,
yesterday I had a discussion on what it is to be oneself and to live with others. I don’t like conforming, this is boring and the opposite of life to me. But we also live with others, how does this coincide?
I put up an artistic project where I try a compromise: do something I love, but give to the Establishment something they will like, so that everyone can feel happy about it.
Now let’s see how it will go.
If making others happy doesn’t cost me my quintessential values, I can do that.
Oh, and coffee is good at Beany Green near Paddington Central.

Hello October,
I will concentrate on the adventures part because this is what matters most at this moment. I wake up early and look for potential cafes in my new neighborhood.
With my fridge empty, all my clothes on my bed and my bank account at a low point, I suffered bying a duvet cover in a huge department store in Oxford Circus.
And here I am today, with my body feeling tired after having waited for hours in front of a till to pay and then carrying my loot back home.
In the meanwhile, the main reason why I looked for a duvet cover, is still valid: I am to stay more in London, because I am looking for a central place to start my initiative from. Brexit and all, London still seems to be a central mega-polis.
So, I will stick around for a while.
Hello October,
I am taking it easy today after particularly busy yesterday, to restore energy levels and get a sense of orientation. It’s great to have a Samurai attitude when it comes to work, but if you alternate it with a bit of a loafer attitude, it could be also interesting.
My idea is that we need to balance our energy, and some productive loafing could do that. That’s what we do while we sleep for example.
It is very creative to leave our mind wander with no purpose.
And the responsibilities, the bills, the people chasing us around?
The lack of means?
Well, we have survived that far, a couple of hours loafing will not do any harm.
We can meditate in the meanwhile, take care of ourself, give ourselves a foot massage if nothing better is not around…
So here I am, and I know this is the moment to give myself some pleasure.
Because we deserve it!
Hello October,
in the midst of chaotic events, a friend has offered me ‘The Rules’ to inspire me getting a Mr Right.
After skimming it, I decided it’s good to retain the essential: we need to respect ourselves and others will respect as then.
The same goes for jobs.
Do I feel like the best anyone could have? Do I show there is competition?
That I am an asset?
Let’s become hard to get.
I have a meeting today, I will leave early. And go to another one in the same way.

Hello October,
I am moving in to a new place, and guess what, it was full of moths; another friend of mine saw mice in her kitchen. Should we enjoy the presence of the wild life around us or call pest control?
What to do or not do, when things seem to be out of control?
Apparently, any crisis is an opportunity.
So, let’s see what this new opportunity brings over;
Maybe I have much more options than I realize, after all.
It could be a question of perspective.
Looking at things from a different angle.
Now, an area where I have been shying away from, are publications.
And also, asking to be paved for my work.
As if, I didn’t deserve that.
I think there is something to do there right away.

Hello October,
do you know this expression? I kind of like it, although sugar is not the best thing nowadays, it’s meant as something very positive.
I am moving to a new place I haven’t even visited today, and a new adventure and chapter is opening.
What am I doing in London?
I came here for connexions, at the heart of a city with a fast space.
I found some of my old Parisian enemies in the art world, who still have a grip in some galleries and art spaces.
But I also opened new doors and felt more confident.
So, now what?
Get the best conditions for writing a book, means, some piece of mind, and the best possible collaboration for my new artistic project, involving installations, and many other things.
Wherever that might be.
