a Sunday morning in London, and I am already out after a walk and some breathing exercises. How do acrobats find balance? They are focused and breathe correctly, I guess.
We are also acrobats in life. We need balance and movement, focus and concentration. Fear is only useful to make us act. But if we are already moving, it could get on the way. A small amount of anything is good if it isn’t too much of it.
Have you seen these people wearing virtual reality devices who think they are walking close to the edge of a high building whereas they are sitting on a couch all the way?
We don’t need that.
We need a sense of urgency in a constructive way.
There is a bridge and we will walk this bridge to the next step, towards the realisation of ourselves and our deepest desires.
So let’s breath in, breath out and find our balance in mouvement!
I am still in front of my desk with my eyes kind of aching after all these words I have been reading, writing, erasing, rewriting.
Actually I admit I have a publishing fear: I am writing, and then I don’t really show my work to the publishers I could have. Especially in the world contacted. Especially when it comes to writing a project for my other activity, the artistic project organization, I seem to feel overwhelmed: I still have on my mind the words of my critics, it doesn’t make sense, it is not well written, it is … not publishable for the brochure of the exhibition… you’d better stick to contact the catering… who do you think you are, the curator?
Just to make a long story short.
The thing is, I have dared to publish a book. But I went to find a publisher in my French village, probably hoping no one will find about it.
At least none of my Parisian, high brow critics.
I am a great performer, so I dare to explain things in meetings.
But when it comes to writing the text, there is something in the form that doesn’t fit the gallery’s standards.
I decided to change that.
I will sent as many projects as possible. They will wonder how on earth I found the time.
a co-bloger, Charlee Felice, congratulated me yesterday on the realization of my dreams, and that made me think: what are my dreams today, and can they be realized to their full extent?
I came up with an image, dreams as a river we sail, something that pushes us to travel, taking us to the sea. A dream is like a desire, something that motivates us to take action, and at the same time, accompanies us all the way to our destination.
A dream is a way to happiness, special to us and at the same time common to all 🙂
Dreams are also our co-travellers: they change along the way as we change, they transform, but they are in a way, manifestations of our desires 🙂
Let’s have a wonderful journey, and at the same time let’s create new dreams until we get to the sea.
